What is Mental Illness?

Mental illness does not occur in people because they feel weak or sick. It is much more complex. A mental health problem can start because of many different things, both inside a person and around them. Mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, etc., can occur in people of any age. Mental illnesses have no age restrictions.

Brain Chemistry and Body Factors – 

Our brain is a very powerful organ that is made up of billions of cells that communicate with each other through chemicals.   • Experiencing a relationship that can be very disturbing and take away your mental peace.

  • Experiencing significant life changes, such as divorce.

The place where you live and the things you do every day can affect your mental health. If you don’t have a steady income, feel unsafe often, or worry a lot about your family or other things, it can lead to more stress and anxiety. This can increase the chance of having mental health problems. Also, breathing dirty air or not eating healthy food can make things worse.

Medicine Side Effects and Drug Use –

If you are using medicines or alcohol regularly, or have a long history of using them. It can harm your brain and make it develop a mental illness. Some medicines used to treat physical illnesses can also cause problems with thinking or lead to other health issues later.
